Mr Daniel Fick | Dan

Dr Daniel Fick graduated with Honours from the University of Western Australia in 1997 and completed his training at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. This was followed by an international fellowship at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in the United Kingdom.

Today, as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons he works as an Orthopaedic Consultant operating out of Hollywood Private Hospital and St John of God Geraldton Hospital. Dan holds a courtesy faculty appointment as Professor of Material Science and Engineering in the School of Material Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas, USA and is also Adjunct Professor in the School of Science at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. He is a Surgeon Scientist who has published more than 50 peer reviewed journal articles and has also served as a reviewer on The Bone and Joint Journal (BJJ) since 2007. As a Surgeon Scientist, Dan has an extensive research history and contributes to his own continuous prospective arthroplasty research database.
